What is a Liquid Facelift?

A liquid facelift is a cosmetic treatment that allows individuals to enjoy the results of a surgical facelift without having to withstand a major aesthetic procedure. A liquid facelift treatment at Natural Face Clinic employs a specialized mix of wrinkle relaxers and fillers to add volume and smoothness to the face, revealing a more youthful appearance. The injectable wrinkle fillers work by volumizing the face while decreasing fine lines, and the relaxers create overall smoothness. To create more drastic results, Dr. Sang W. Kim may suggest other procedures. To learn more about liquid facelifts, call our Syracuse, NY facility today.

What Can I Expect From a Liquid Facelift?

The fillers and relaxers utilized in our Syracuse, NY facility are approved by the Food and Drug Administration and have been considered safe to use. The results of dermal fillers are typically recorded right away while relaxers can take up to seven days to reveal the best results. If you are also wanting to undergo additional cosmetic treatments, it may be in your best interest to wait until after healing from your injections. The longevity of the results depends upon the relaxers and fillers chosen for the liquid facelift. Some liquid facelift products last only three months while others may last much longer. Patients should come back to Natural Face Clinic for scheduled touch-ups in order to maintain results.

Needed Mohs surgery to remove a skin cancer on my nose. Following the off site procedure, it looked pretty nasty. However, Dr Kim patched me up very nicely. Two weeks later, no one except me really notices. Bit of a scar, which Dr Kim explained will fade over time with the help of an OTC silicone treatment. Following as necessary Staff super friendly & professional. Shannon on the deck most pleasant & helpful. A real delight. While hoping I won’t need to go back (LOL), it’s good to know that Dr Kim and his staff are there if the need ever arises again.

How do I know which brands of injectables are right for me?

Different brands of dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers may be more beneficial for different areas of the face. Additionally, the concentration level in each injectable brand may vary, creating alternative results. During your consultation, we will recommend the ideal brands to create your optimal outcome.

What is the difference between a dermal filler and wrinkle relaxer?

While a dermal filler is used to add volume to areas of the face, a wrinkle relaxer, such as BOTOX, relaxes the facial muscle to diminish wrinkles. Dermal fillers are beneficial in eliminating the appearance of fine lines, such as those around the mouth. Wrinkle relaxers work to correct frown lines, such as those between the eyebrows.
